So many of us love the design feature that a natural stone counter can bring to our kitchen, but often find ourselves confused on how best to care for them – and keep our kitchen surfaces ready for everything we throw at them.

If your kitchen is anything like mine, it is a battleground of cooking, baking, entertaining and family life, which translates to cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. As the mother of three children, I spend my days filming various cooking shows in my kitchen, and then the evenings doing the after-school routine to mid-week meal shuffle where our counters take a beating in the form of cooking, arts and crafts, homework, and the all-important giggle over the day’s events.

To say that life unfolds across our granite counter tops is an understatement. Having beautifully cared for and stunning granite counters makes enjoying these special moments all the more enjoyable.
