Can Granite Cleaner Be Used on Quartz?

Though Granite Gold Daily Cleaner® is also safe to use on quartz surfaces, Granite Gold Quartz Brite® is better on quartz because it’s the first two-in-one cleaner and polish specifically formulated for engineered stone, and it can also be used to clean solid surface materials such as Corian countertops. In general, here are some things to consider when it comes to what you should use to clean quartz.
Granite and Quartz Aren’t Equal
Though they may look very similar in some cases, granite and quartz are different materials. The former is composed solely of natural elements, while the latter is fabricated with more than 90 percent natural quartz and resin. The compositions of natural stone and quartz are taken into consideration when formulating Granite Gold Daily Cleaner® and Granite Gold Quartz Brite®. Neither contain ammonia or phosphates, which can damage both engineered and natural-stone stone surfaces.
Sealing Makes a Difference
As you may already know, granite is a surface that requires frequent sealing in addition to cleaning. Quartz doesn't need to be sealed because it’s permanently sealed during fabrication.
