Prepare The Surface

Guardsman Revitalizing Lemon Oil will not damage wood - in fact, it can help to protect it from damage. Lemon Oil penetrates deep into the wood grain to nourish and protect it. It is meant to extend the life of your wood furniture. We would never recommend using any oil on wood that isn’t meant for it.
Is Lemon Oil good for old wood?
Lemon Oil is especially good for old wood because it can help to replenish lost oils and restore the wood's original luster. Over time, wood can become dry, faded, and cracked, but Guardsman Revitalizing Lemon Oil can help to prevent this damage.
How long does it take for lemon oil to dry?
It varies based on how dry the wood surface is. .  We recommend waiting at least 60minutes before using the furniture or putting anything on top of it. This will give the Lemon Oil time to fully penetrate the wood and do its job.
How often should you use Lemon Oil on furniture?
We recommend that you apply Guardsman Revitalizing Lemon Oil at least every 6-12 months or more frequently as needed.
Can you use lemon oil on veneer furniture?
Using lemon oil on high gloss veneers is not recommended
